Book 8: Second Corinthians

By Allah’s command Hozrot Isa al-Mosi’s Companion Hozrot Paulus (r.a) wrote this volume of holy scripture in the form of a letter. It is understood to be written 21 years after Hozrot Isa went to heaven.

Hozrot Paulus wrote this letter to the jamaat in Corinth when his relationship with them was not good. Some members of the Corinth jamaat had strongly opposed Paulus’s position as a Companion of Hozrot Isa al-Mosi. This letter is his reply.

We can learn more about Hozrot Paulus through reading this book. In this book, Hozrot Paulus conveys the things in his mind, his enthusiasm for the preaching of Allah’s good news, his sorrow, pain and misfortune, and how the first Isaei jamaats helped one another in times of financial difficulties. The region named ‘Asia’ in this book is in present day Turkey, and Macedonia is in present day Greece. At that time these were free countries.
